JoAnn Verberg (b. 1950) is an American photographer currently living between St. Paul, Minnesota and Spoleto, Italy. Verburg’s work is distinguished by its extraodinary sensitivity to the energy and sensuality of the natural world. She is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship (1986) as well as multiple artist fellowships from the Bush Foundation (1983, 1993) and the McKnight Foundation (1994, 2004).
